I started to watch but he clearly just raging so not gonna even bother with that idiot.. not that i care what other people think.. i love this game to death
Angry Joe is supposed to seem angry, that's his shtick. He clearly exaggerates to get a reaction, and he is usually quite funny, I used to watch him all the time when I would frequent thatguywiththeyglasses. They killed off the NC though, so I'm not too psyched about it anymore.
Anyway, back on track, even if you like the game, a lot of the points he made are not only fair, but complaints we as a community have also made. The social aspect DOES need work, a lot of the quests ARE repetitive, and some of the coolest moments in the game do only happen in the CO-Op maps, which makes no sense. And I do have faith that the game will fix these missteps and get better over time, but he cannot rate a future product, he has to rate what he's got in front of him.
And no, I don't agree with his final score...or the random comment he made about Cooper, as I think he's one of the better voice actors, but I still respect his opinion, and treat it as just that, an opinion. He isn't the be all end all of game reviews, but he's honest, and he speaks his mind. No reason to hate on someone for that, even if they trash a game you enjoy playing.

I have always watched his reviews, they are usually pretty funny. As for Defiance ... I wish I could play the game. I can't progress past part of the beginning section of the game (the part where you find 4 gps tags and identify the dead guys from the crash site). The mission doesn't complete so that 5/10 he gives the game seems more and more valid each day I am sitting waiting for them to fix the game ...

Meh, I saw his reviews couple times while I regularly watched Nostalgia Critic's "reviews," and I rarely agreed with him on the games I was interested in. Probably the only reason I still remember him was because of his cameos in NC, but yeah, it's just not the same anymore.

I give the game a 5 or 6 out of 10 too - Joe had a couple small facts wrong but for the most part spot on with everything. First time I've seen one of his reviews, like his objective stance. Gives credit where it's due and bashes where it's due.
