I think Angry Joe's bad patcher experience might have tainted his view of the game.

I gotta disagree with him in his final overview of the game, he calls it "average in every sense of the word." But how? Exactly what other shooter MMO's with a TV companion are out there? What other game can you have 30 other players shooting cooperatively like in an arkfall? Like it or not this game is something new.

Sometimes Angry Joe is fair like his Two Worlds 2 video, but I think this one and his Colonial Marines are pretty harsh considering how fun both games can be.

To me there is no such things as a final overview of an MMO. It's always changing and growing as time goes by.

Trion did a great job on improving Rift since it launched and now feels like a much better game. Hopefully they will do the same thing for Defiance.

I played Rift when it launched for 1 month and didn't like it that much because i was tired of the same MMO formula but when i tried it a year later i was blown away. It was a different game!

People should just rent games instead of going by reviewers.

you cant rent mmo's or any game that requires an account or serial activation

and as far as PC games go you cant rent or trade any of those in anymore

But if you have a complaint about Defiance, how about posting it here to share with everyone? Let's get a single common thread going so that we can get a single point of reference for people's LEGITIMATE complaints for the Dev's to see, and for other players to learn about.

if everyone rattled off things they didnt' like about in the game on one thread who on the dev team would want spend the time to sift through the inevitable 20 top things that piss people off list when it cuts back and forth with no segue between topics? Like i could complain about the lack of content in this post it goes for 2 replies then someone says something about content after the final boss but his real rant is about how there is no good reward for the final boss and he had to do it alone only to be followed up by another guy cutting back to Ark Fall drivers then covering how he doesn't like the EGO powers or the side missions are dull all in one post. it'd be mis-organized mayhem.
