How long until PC D13 is shut down?

I switched from ps about 3 years ago as it was so difficult to play, if it played the same on the xbox I could see why there would be so few players.

They played basically the same up until the cloud server migration. After that Xbox has ran like sh*t, I have d13 on ps3 PC x360.
The reason I chose to play on 360 was down to the people on my friends list, I will not continue with gamigo once they shutdown 360.

1000s of hours down the tubes not to mention 4years of spending $$ on patron pass, max inv slots, ect...

D2050 is garbage to me, and for a lot of others.

Gamigo is only a game publisher they should be banned from "next gen consoles". And stick to their mobile/ web browser based games. Imo

For me it's just the promises of fixes and the "we're working on it" answers we always got, then the sales of sh*t to buy, then they shut it down without fixing or doing anything but lie about working on it and shoving sales in our face. That's just wrong... And I'm on PC not even on 360. I don't even want to play on pc after this crap. Admittedly I didn't really enjoy playing anymore as it was.

After the 360 version shutting down, i don't feel like playing the PC anymore as well, knowing it might shut down soon, like what is the point. Hopefully they respond back to our concerns soon , then i will can make my decision.

As i said though, i rather they just make it offline playable. At least we can play it forever.

I have yet to install 2050, I have been tempted a few times just to see if the netcode was updated and if it was an improved version in-terms of stability.

2050 has better graphics , so it runs at 60fps fluid fps all the time. Stability no problems, the problems with 2050 are:

Harder enemies, even at low levels
Vehicles drive about 20x slower from the very beginning, so traveling from sniper's ridge to bloodbath will take about 30 mins , rather than in D13 about 5 mins. LMFAO
Ego grid from D13 is gone and replaced with force powers instead of being able to choose what you like
Alot of the character creation features are gone, so making a character is even less limited now
DLCS are free now, it seems worse for some reason, its like you don't even notice it.
If i am not mistaken i think Silicon Valley is missing from 2050
The loot system sucks, instead of getting random colors of loot more often, you get green about 90% of the time and some blue ones
If you want better color loot, you have to use the salvage nonsense to keep upgrading your weapons and over and over and over again, so when you higher ego or higher weapon powers or something like that, you get better loot, but this isn't true. You will rarely see orange and purple
After an arkfall there's this stupid loot box that shows up, instead of getting rewards drops you have to have keys or something to use it.

2050 is a downgrade version, even the tutorial in the beginning is worse than d13. You have to use a chain gun and mow down about 70 or 80 tiresome enemies. lol. ugh.
Wish i can get a damn refund on the gold edition i bought from D13, i dont even feel like playing defiance anymore considering what is going on, i haven't played since these stupid events.

With event turned off, there are even less players than before combine that with xbox shutting down, D13 PC is a ghost town. D13 on all platforms are on the slippery slope. The only way to get access D13 is through steam or through trion's glyph launcher page. Everywhere else Defiance has been scrubbed off the net.

They should just turn on all the events for every arkfall, give the players an opportunity to complete all the holiday pursuit.

Does kind of seem like end days for it. If they don't want it empty they're gonna have to start doing something. Make something new and not recycled bit store sales. Open some new map areas and send out an email to every account about it. Advertise a little bit. Anything damn. Stop neglecting it to death!

The slower driving would be very frustrating, the reason I enjoyed df was because of the all the perks and so many ways you could play.
I will be very sad if they turn on d13 as I really have no desire to try 2050.

Alot of what your saying is completely untrue and from reading your post here it sounds like you played 2050 for about 15 mins at most! For one the vehicles are not much slower! Maby if your right out the gate and have only played for about 10 mins. I have a 10% clan boost on and a 50% boost synergy on and I'm using the faster ATV. It is really fast trust me! I can start at the beginning of the game and drive to the bottom of San Fran in about 10 mins if that! Second incorrect fact about the guns! When you get to about 2000 of 5000 power level. You no longer get any green drops, they dont drop anything green! They are all blues with occasional purples! When you get to about 4000- 5000 they are also all blues but purples are very frequently dropped! Oj Legendary guns can be purchased after almost 75% of Final Arkfals along with free loot, and some drops. Doing the daily's for a few days earns you enough currency for an OJ Legendary or Prototype. The prototypes show up pretty frequent as well, not as much as Legendarys but they do show up alot! There is also a chance at getting a random free prototype after a Final, or an OJ Legendary from the free white box at the end of finals. The loot system actually works pretty well. Only issue with this is when you get to about 4990, getting to 5000 is very hard. Alot of people are stuck at 4999 like my self! The whole salvage things is to get new players to try all the weapons out! Salvage is so easy to get, you get it from everything. When you add salvage and max the guns your using, the next drops will be higher. It's just a different concept from D13, and I like that this was implemented! Next you talk about harder enemies, this isnt true there all scaled down so even new players dont have issues. There is no threat level like D13. This was fixed ages ago to benefit new players. Pretty much the only thing I see that is true in your post is Silcon Valley being open. We are still waiting for them to open this. Alkatraz is also not opened. I have read alot of your posts bashing 2050 with stuff that is untrue. Maby give it a chance more than the 10 mins that you did and maby you will like it! I spent thousands of hours playing D13 and when 2050 came out I've played nothing but that! It took a few days to get use too, but I like the game! Both games have there good and bad aspects!
