PlayStation 3 issue investigation

Hello Ark hunters,

We are currently aware of the lag with the servers and are working on correcting this issue. We do know that this is going for a few weeks and our technicians are looking into this issue.


In order to investigate and fix it more efficiently we need your live reports. Therefore if you are a PS3 player and experiencing any of the lag/high ping/etc issues please send us following information either here or in the direct messages.

- Your ingame nickname
- Approximate date since when you are getting these issues
- Your server (NA or EU)
- Your location
- What kind of issues do you have?
- Videos to showcase your issue of photos if the issue is shown there would be great to add.


We kindly ask you to provide your information. Please understand that if community is reporting that there are server issues and only 1-4 players are sending us the requested information, we may not trigger the issue effectively.


If you’re not experiencing any of these issues please also mention this so we know whenever the whole server is affected or only specific groups of players.

Yes, thank you. I saw your report log and what we need is more players to do it too.

There more players shares their issues the more effectively we can work on the issue.

So what is the minimum amount of players needed reporting an issue to trigger an actual investigation from Gamigo? 5? 6? 20? There aren't even 5 people on ps3 that use the forum.

In order to trigger the investigation a report from one player is enough. But that does not mean that because of this player’s report the whole server will get fixed. There are many reasons why certain player information is not enough for an investigation.

We’re not collecting your information to compare your ISPs or to find a reason to tell that your PS3 needs an upgrade. This information is collected to track your activities from the IT side so they can give us a better overview what’s going on.

So please guys don’t speak for everyone and don’t wait until those 'everyone' provides us the info. If you say that everyone is not able to switch guns in shadow war or not seeing the textures then please take out your phone and record it on a video this would take only 5 minutes for you and save lots of hours of investigation.


You say that PS3 players are not using forums but yet you have the time to complain here. So why not to ask those players in the game and pass their info here. A small note with 'I talked with my clan mate on 08/03, his name is ArkHunter001 and he has this and this issue since…' would mean a lot for us. If you don’t feel like sharing anything with us then please give other this opportunity to share their info.


It won’t take much time for you but would mean for us. Therefore, if you are here to help us solve the issue then please share with us what you have. Our technicians are working on this issue but we need those reports from 'everyone' in order to solve this together.

Major lag issues and disconnects...been happening for about 2 months now. At the end of every pvp match, Co op, expo, etc, I get timed out. Social bugs occuring at least twice a week. Que waits occuring frequently. Recently, within the last few days, been having problems getting kicked off during expos then my tier gets reset automatically.

I would also like to know when this problem with glitchers is going to be handled. You have the same people everyday exploiting glitches, one shot killing people, taking no damage, bio locking people, then taking videos of it and posting it on YouTube. It's bad enough getting kicked off after every match, now it's extremely difficult to even complete contracts since they are all teaching each other how to glitch the game.

social server is crashed again on ps3 na. so how is the fix coming for this?
