The 47th would like to welcome Tiro Arocka to the Legion!
Last night I was doing one of the new Alter EGO quests and it took me to the objective area where you hack the bulwarks and attempt to take control of a monolith.
Upon arrival I hit the objective but decided to stick around for the main mission as well. I bit off a little more than I could chew...
Upon getting to the point where one protects the consoles I was quickly overwhelmed with a total onslaught of Dark Matter forces. There were probably seventy to one-hundred Dark Matter troops up at all times. I could barely even keep one console active let alone four.
After taking cover in one of the wrecked buildings nearby I hopped on comms and requested immediate support. Two legionaries, Optio Campbell and Carian Dralzen, responded immediately. We were practically up to our knees in Dark Matter blood and after about an hour of intense firefight we emerged victorious!
It was A LOT of fun! What a crazy amount of mobs and at TL10 to boot. Something was a little glitchy but it all worked out.
Anyways, what's the point of all this? In the 47th Legion we recognize your in-game accomplishments and have an extensive ribbons and awards system that are publicly displayed on each legionary's website profile.
Campbell and Dralzen earned our second highest award last night and I couldn't be happier to pin the medals on

So we had a little hiccup with new account registrations. Apparently the human verification method had managed to uninstall itself meaning that if you attempted to register an account at our website it would pop a security code error unless you registered through one of the social bridges using Twitter, Google, or Steam. The Facebook bridge was also having an issue.
I have resolved both of these issues and the account registration process should be 100% now. I apologize for any frustration or inconvenience this may have caused to prospective members.

Also, my Win7 install on my gaming PC ir corrupted beyond repair. I'll be stuck spending all of tonight backing stuff up, wiping it, and getting everything back on it.
