I dont understand how its even possible for the Developers not to have an answer to certain questions of the game by now.
How is "soon" even an acceptable response 20+ days from launch.
If they dont have concrete answers to technical or mechanical questions about the game by now, that Iceberg is just around the corner...

Honestly I don't think they plan on releasing NDA until release... and I think for the most part this is due to the shot tying in with the game. Granted a PS3 live stream would definitely ease our minds. lol.

I understand where you're coming from to a degree with the repeat thread thing,but i don't agree with Trion owing us NOTHING. They DO b/c we are the ones putting money in their pockets for them to continue running their company. So yes, they owe us something.

no they dont, because we dont have to give them any money yet.

if you pre-order, thats your choice. they make no bones or commitment that if you pre-order they will divolvge info

one good reason for the longer then normal NDA, is because of the nature of this game. as any tv show will show is secrecy means everything. if you open nda, story can be leaked.

So this might be a dumb question but let me ask you this, if its still about 25+ days out and they are doing the alpha inbetween beta play tests which they even said on the live stream that they can basicly change on the fly. Lets say they tell you something but then they realize they need to change it due to a technical or mechanical problem with how something works to rebalance something. Would you complain that its different then what they said?

If you reply no, thats cool but keep in mind a person alone is rational but a group of people sadly are not because if one person in a group goes thats not what you said. Then others think that who may not have even know the what is actually going and think they lied. Its better to with hold information sometimes till you are ready then to say something. Rather then later it has to be changed because of one reason or another to make it run better. It would be like during the cold war the government telling people "Yea, you know how we told schools to do the duck and cover drills and it will protect you, well we lied its not going to help you because you will still die from the exposure" Which would have caused panic and a uproar, mind you they could have said that because they after doing drills where they would test a nuke they would move in troops to hold the land showing it could be done. It wasn't till after the fact they learn of the fallout and side effects of the test and putting living things in the area.

So in other words if they told you something and then had to change it then you might be ok with that but the masses might be pissed and be like "Thats not what you said!" They will tell us more once they make sure all is well and they feel comfortable with it.

Exactly, I mean, I payed 180$ for this game, and I've barely got enough info to justify it at this point, I was hoping I would get into alpha, but I stopped trying to after I don't know how many live streams, (off topic: I've seen posts from some people who are in alpha and I think they should have refined their selection process) but, the game is like 2 and a half weeks from launch, WTF, not only is their practically no point to an NDA at this point (What are they gonna change in 2 1/2 weeks that would be game breaking for a couple people) they are missing out on a LOT of people whoa aren't as forgiving when they spend money on something they know nothing about, I already got burned by CM I don't want to get burned by Defiance. Another thing is, they don't advertise very well at ALL that I've seen, the only reason I even knew about the game was because someone mentioned it in the comment section of the PoE forums.
