I won't lie. Currently if this game was P2P I would have cancelled it already and waited for some serious patching before considering it again.

First of all, Pay to Play games are dead, yes, this includes WOW... Second, its a NEW MMO... Every new mmo has problems, hell, LoL and WOW were loaded with bugs on release. Third... If it where Pay to Play, it would just end up like Star Wars: The Old Republic, end up going Freemium, and end up dieing. Lastly, This game, being Buy to Play, allows players to play the game, if they dont like it, they can hold off for a while, then come back to it after a few patches just like you want to.

? I'm not saying I wanted it subscription based.
Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the game but at the moment it can be a completely broken mess. Between having to power off your console 3-4x a night to get the VOIP to work for an hr or so and the regular freezing + hard locks the game can be incredibly frustrating. I certainly don't expect perfection on a new MMO release but at the same time playing an MMO isn't fun when you can't even communicate with your friends that you are playing with.
So yea, I stand by my comment that if this was currently pay to play I would not be paying for it until some serious patching occurred. Honestly at the moment the game doesn't even have an MMO feel and more like a SP game with multiple people.
