I'm curious how this will work as I regularly game with friends in Austrailia (I'm in US) on my 360. PSU and FFXI managed this without issue, so if Defiance cannot then there is a serious problem.

Sledge never said anything about there being different rules for different platforms and we keep being told the only difference is controls.If the rumour is true then that would meen they were holding back some pretty important info and i would like to think there not that naughty.I would think there would be a major **** storm as well since the answer didn't come with a "only on pc" if that is infact the case there are gonna be a lot of ****** off players and whole clans who are now expecting to be able to play with there friends in other regions.

What the hell are you talking about? Outside of maybe frame rate being better on pc's & control setup the game is same across all platforms. When it comes to the servers all they said in past was they would have to get back to us as nothing was set yet. This past Fridays livestream Sledgehammer70 stated there would be region servers and we could choose which we wanted to play on. The downside is that once we choose we can't change that character to another server. That doesn't mean we can't have one character on US servers and another character on EU servers.
