It's the in-game fake currency. You get it from completing missions and stuff and then to spend in vendors.

Am guessing its like in other games, if you do missions and quests and hunt enemies and stuff you should have plenty

There's xp, skills(weapons/vehicles/etc.), Scrip and Luck.
