Why so much xbox?

Was originally going to pick Defiance up for the xbox 360 but after playing the beta on my laptop i decided to take the plunge and buy myself a new gaming PC (long over due)

Xbox 360, Defiance has no competition for the type of game it is. as far as MMOs go, Defiance is the only game in town, for the most part.

PS3, Defiance is competing with several current and upcoming games. Dust 514, FF14, and DCUO.

couldn't agree more, also PS3 users are less vocal coming from experience but they are there and will flood the servers when the game is out.

for example when Dust 514 went open beta one month ago 1 million players joined in the first 4 days! and DCUO is still going strong hell 70% of DCUO profits is coming from PS3. As JMadFour said PS3 player are scattered over other MMOs and will scatter even more with arrival of FFXIV ARR while Xbox people are all focused on Defiance.

Only reason i use my PS3 is to play DCUO nowadays.

I think this is because when you buy an XBOX it comes with a headset mic so you can be as vocal as you want however with PS3 you have to go out and buy your own.

Not so much. Xbox doesn't come with headset at all price points. Not sure if any do anymore.

I was originally going 360. Hardly even play my PS3 anymore, like the controller better, have had less issues playing on live than on PSN, and most people i know prefer their xbox over their ps3 and would be playing Defiance on xbox. Just got a new PC though so i will start of on PC and if a lot of my friends are on xbox i will pick up that copy too.
