Maybe I need to research Destiny more, but from what I got out of one of the hour long videos right after it was announce it was more like, there was a central place where players could interact but then you'd have to join a specific map/scenario and then you'd play that. Like DDO or PSO or Vindictus. Not a persistent world mmo ala Planetside 2.

What im getting is Bungie is feeling butthurt over losing the halo series. Thats all it is really. and now they wish to be it with something else. There is no comparision, as well will be playing defiance for years to come, and destiny will be replaced.
Originally the game was gunna be all fantasy, but now its a sci fi/ fantasy mix. I cant even lie; they've got my attention.
