    lol, no. Cover system is just at the top of the list in shortcomings, bugs aside. I play this game and like it. lack of cover is usually a game breaker for me, but i over looked it cause the game has other elements that make it good.

    I agree. I think a cover system would be great. If not a locking on system where you're suctioned to the cover at least let me shoot over the damn cover in front of me. That **** is so annoying..

    Formal cover systems are clunky and restrictive. The current setup is much like Borderlands in that you can freely and fluidly use cover and there's plenty of it.

    Of all the things wrong, this is not one of them.

    It doesn't help that your character is offset from your targeting cross hairs. So you might have enemy in the target but your character will hit that wall instead.. Very annoying

    I fourth(?) this. I have had no issues with the cover in this game, it is solid and plentiful. Sure, everyone accidentally shoots the cover instead of past it from time to time but it's noting a slight shift in position can't fix. Also, I've noticed that having a scope mod on your gun instead of "iron sights" helps you not hit the cover when shooting over/past it.

    I think Defiance is currently missing many things, and the addition of a cover system shouldn't be a priority right now.
