PSN Maintenance on 4/15. A (very basic) question.

its worth noting that this is the first PSN downtime thats happened while Defiance is online...

So we all assume its gonna work the same as with everything else,, but that depends if playing the game requires connection to account services (linking the shop through etc)... if thats the case then we wont be able to play (i remember DCUO having similar troubles with some of the maintenance windows)

The trick with psn downtimes is assume you're gonna have troubles, then if there arent any its a bonus

Also be interesting if patching is possible during psn downtime,, although the devs said we're getting it later in the week on ps3 after they sort out pc's and those useless cross shaped black boxes

I still dont get it. If i play defiance right now, then shut my ps3 down. Now i turn it back on monday, will i be able to play defiance?

Theoretically, and most likely YES,,,

but dont be too surprised if the actual answer is no...

Its not that confusing...

If you log into your psn account on your system anytime between now and before they start maintenance you will be fine. PSN has been doing this for about a yr now, its nothing out of the ordinary. For example you didnt log in, you wouldn't be able to play during maintenance period.

The confusing part is how thats worded can make people think you have to stay logged in before maintenance starts.
