I suggest you fix the deplorable social aspect in this game or be prepared for a lot of refunds as the product is not what it's advertised as. Shame on you trion.

MMO.... This stands for Massive Multiplayer Online , kk
So Trio has produced a game that needs, ok bear with me here, as it might take some understanding?
A game that has a possible massive amount of people playing it......check.
As above it has multiple players doing quests, playing with each other and enjoying the environment....check.
It needs a constant internet connection to play therefore online.....check.
This game is incredible for an MMO in its first week or so.
Trion are doing an incredible job on all 3 platforms.
    So ....MMO?
Me thinks you need to play another game and leave us people who can see a really good gaming achievement growing right in front of us to play in peace.

I honestly wouldn't mind if they copied Rift's chat UI over directly. That one worked well.

There are a lot of people who are confusing MMO with MMORPG.

Not all MMO games are required to have the same feature set as an MMORPG, which includes things like banks, auctions and fully fleshed out crafting. How many shooters do you see with the same features as WoW, AoC, SWTOR, Rift, etc?

    Not many.

Really it needs a global chat channel imo. so people can easly talk to others in the same "zone" they are in (EG Madera zone, etc)

An MMO only needs a persistent world where many players can play at the same time for it to be an MMO.

    Social interaction isn't a requisite.

Sounds pretty spot on to me.

Minus the opinion of the 'incredible'ness.

I think it's an amazing game. But that's my opinion.

But the rest of the post, pretty accurate.
