What was your worst gaming experince ever?

Hey guys, I just wanted to know what your worse gaming experience ever has been.

Hardest thing ever that made you go nuts (hardest boss), seems like you have the worst luck with a quest drop, a massive bug ect

My worst gaming experience was fighting the Ice Queen in Enchanted Arms. It took me 5 hours before I came on with a strategy that worked.

Generation of Chaos-a turn based/rts/kingdom management strategy rpg...that game had a 90+ page pdf manual that still didnt explain every nuance properly, random events like revolts and disease epidemics that would ruin your current combat or management goals, multiple generals to manage fighting multiple kingdoms all with their own generals etc. throw in permadeath and a bunch of stat abrreviations exclusive to that one series.

worst experience in its hosility to the non-importer/japaneese as far as user friendliness by far(though it WAS fun once you got the hang of it....3 weeks irl later)

Yeah buddy! Finally, someone else who played SWG. I think the Deathwatch Bunker also ranks decently high up on that list, lol.

Worse gaming experience. Hmmm, my now ex-girlfriend and I being in the same raiding guild on WoW. Worst gaming experience because when a piece of loot dropped that we both wanted and I won it with a winning DKP bid, yeah...slept on the couch an no "pudding" for a week, lol. Sucked. :P

This would be ongoing experiences. Testing games that never make it to the market, died during development. Since I signed written NDAs for most of them, I can't even mention their names...and some were great! Almost like watching your favorite automobile suddenly develop problems that cost too much to fix and you are forced to sell/junk it...heart-breaking! -*(

Eh, I've had so many that I can't name just one but a couple from this gen come to mind.

Killzone 2--Crappy controls, crappy maps, crappy multiplayer, crappy campaign.

    Steel Battalion:Heavy Armor--Bad controls......bad controls.....bad controls......crappy and uneven campaign....bad controls....

I've been a gamer since the ZX Spectrum and Tiki 100 (if you don't know what I'm talking about, that's hint enough, hehe), so I have had more than my share of bad gaming experiences. But to take a few recent-ish ones:

    * Gears of War 1: Awesome game, really loved it... then I got stuck in a f'ing driving mission with horrible controls and insanely boring gameplay. I know it's not that long, but I never bothered finishing it.

    * Quake 2. I loved Quake 1, but Quake 2 was an entirely different game in an entirely different series. The monsters, weapons and even setting was different from Quake 1. So why still call it Quake? Add the fact is was boring as hell, and you got a problem. Quake 3 was awesome, though.

    * ParaWorld: RTS! Dinosaurs! Military! Yay? Nay...

    * Emperor: Battle for Dune. I have the entire Dune-series in my bookshelf, much thanks to all the endless hours I played Dune 2. Emperor... ugh. No. Just... no.

    * StarCraft 2. I loved the first one to death. The second ws technically better, but it had lost all the charm, all the personality and the soul of the first one. Heart of the swarm? The baddest, coolest villain in gaming history has turned into a wimp, and she stays that way through half the campaign. I really regret buying this piece of crap, and haven't even finished two missions yet. I want to play as the Queen of Blades like it says on the cover!!!!!
