Nim was easy huh? Let's see your vids?

Nim was a righteous pain my ***.

For me, he was hard. Took me over an hour and dozens of attempts.

Let's see your 1 shot vids. Post 'em up.

I've posted my vids before, they aren't one shots, not by any stretch of the imagination.

I want to see these vids, as I don't believe the one shotters to be honest.

    I'm not ashamed.

You can't possibly expect every single "easy fight" to have been recorded. I come from games like Dark Souls, so dodging and pacing my attacks is second nature, thus I beat Nim easily.

    Some advice:

    * When running away, use shift+s and use your mouse to adjust the camera so that you can still see what Nim is doing
    * Use a weapon that doesn't require ADS to be effective, the extra time you take to ADS means you lose precious time of DPS-time.

I did him on my first try, by the way, but I'm not someone who records the things I do so you'll just have to take my word on it.

I fell asleep using a BMG b.c with that gun that is how easy the fight was.

No video here, but I didn't find it too hard. I think I died twice, but once I got used to his attacks it was all about slowly taking his health down.

Do him my second go with a shotgun I got from a previous mission the first time I died it was from him long range attack so I knew to stay close and kite him in my attack and dodge when need to. I'll be honest he was really hard and survived a few times by the skin of my teeth but I really enjoyed it. I'd definitely do it again when the patch is out!

meh, I don't vid anything, but it only took me one go with vaguely the same combo of weapons and skills I used all through the story content. Rocket/missile launcher of some kind (a rather nice rocket launcher that sets things on fire in this case) and a pistol (an automatic in this case) with decoy as my EGO skill. Only time I really came close to dying was phase 3, and that was due to being hit through cover a few times.

I honestly don't understand why people are saying that the fight was tough. Did with an assault rifle, didn't die once because his attack pattern is incredibly easy to read and a simple roll or jump can dodge ALL of his moves, if I had any experience with recording gameplay I would gladly post a video to help you guys out. I also agree with rhorge that having played demon/dark souls probably gave me some valuable experience in dodging and reading enemy movements

Agreeing with Dracanoid here, maybe it's because of the experience in dealing with bosses in Demon and Dark souls or just patience, but Nim had an incredibly easy to read attack pattern. I did die twice to the crystals, one because I didn't see them emerging under me and then again because I didn't know Nim was able to blow them up.

Using an SMG and Infector, in Phase 1 all I did was sprint around, only attacking when he did his douchbag pose or got exhausted.
Phase 2 I never knew the infector could be so handy. The parasites took care of both him and the clones on the floor, they got distracted and never even attacked me. Then when he was above, at first I shot each Nim to figure which one he was, then noticed just like how I dealt with Dark Matter Snipers, you can hear the direction of his speech.
Phase 3 I died twice to my own stupidity as I mentioned above. Anyway, after getting hit by both his aoe attacks. I used the pillars to hide from his spin aoe, then jumped whenever his landed his jump aoe attacking him his brief vulnerability. Generally it was just playing ring around the pillar shooting him in his face. Oh, the smg was awesome at clearing a path through the crystals with its fast ROF.

TLDR: Just read enemy movements to make your day easier.
