Crossover missions are "real time" - No longer available after they've passed?

Crossover missions sound like they are time limited. So if you miss it, you can't repeat it. Is this accurate? makes re-rolling a new toon a little bit naf, especially if you like being completionist and getting any pursuits that might apply to storyline. (Are there any actually?)

well we still know so little about the cross over planed so hard to answer.

but this kind of excites me. that i could be part of the story of a live tv show.... hopefully they will have after events to carry on something...

It seems like a good plan on paper, but it would be nice if there was a "storyteller" or some such that would let people replay old storyline missions (even if without reward) so people can experience them. >.< So someone comes in halfway through a series can still find out how we got to this point.

They better be repeatable, the one time only events in GW2 really pissed people off including myself who was at work.
If i keep missing out on these i wont keep playing long, for me games are about story, without it i have no reason to play.

P.S. Rift has season festivals with unique rewards. You was on vacation during those two weeks? Too bad - you won't get Nebula horse ever. It was so frustrating I've asked for refund in 20 minutes after reactivation of subscription. Good news: you cannot ask to refund subscription fee in Defiance because there is none.

Maybe that's why there's a US and EU server? Maybe the timing will be different based on your server? Just spitballing no snark/sarcasm intended. That's a chin scratcher for me.

u know your stuff about defiance.i think DC online was the same.it would tell u some mission weren't availiable for so many amount of time.

Seriously? Yeah, it sucks if you've missed it, but to ask for a refund just because of that? I mean.. If you were to start playing Rift now (or any other similar game), you already missed out on a lot.

I hope there are going to be timed (season) events. With or without (unique) rewards. When I played Runescape ages ago, those special season events were one of my favorite aspects in the game.
