Crossover missions are "real time" - No longer available after they've passed?

It seems like a good plan on paper, but it would be nice if there was a "storyteller" or some such that would let people replay old storyline missions (even if without reward) so people can experience them. >.< So someone comes in halfway through a series can still find out how we got to this point.

i agree

they have to factor in the different time zones., and the fact this is THE main selling point for the game, if they alienate people because of time restrants, this game will go down the pan.

i wouldnt be to surprised if they basically just repeate the missions/events for those not on. they have got a phase system in place. maybe give players a week, ie before the next episode.

Need more detail than a twitter post really. By "real time" they may mean "Actual real time - Don't sleep if you are outside the US!" up to "anytime between episodes on TV". i.e missions may last a week until the next episode. Who knows.

You know since they take place on east (show) and west (game) and supposedly events filter back and forth it would be much more likely that you would have a few weeks. Example would be lets say Nalon goes back to the game world, there most likely would be a 2 episode gap where he isn't in the show. I mean they did say that flying for the most part is out of the question in the new world so he would have to travel on the ground there and back. So during that time I would gather would be the time table for that event to be done.

well i was just thinking about this.

personally i think they have 2 ways to take this. 1 a major event that lasts for days, starts or peeks during the show, but can be played after. so say an army invades. (this is all guess work). in the show they make the invasion start, in the game it starts with roaming bad guys we have to take out. this can go on for an episode or 2, means we can have it for a week or so. then in game they kill the boss, in the game we see the mobs trickle away, or retreat.

personally i think the past way would be an instanced area. maybe only entered once. (so not to farm), this area opens up during the show, we can run through it whilst the show is on. after wards the area can remain open for those that wernt about.

then before next episode it closes up. we know they have open world coop maps. so shouldnt be to hard to fit in, gives everyone the chance AND means the devs can have alot more play room to what they can do.

Indeed, I really hope they keeps these events open for the week of the episode and dont limit the "reward" (if any) to just the first time it opens.

I dont live in my mothers basement and do not have my own large screen TV to play on so I can only play during the morning or later at night.

well there is the some what, hopefuly not overseen issue, of most, and i mean vast majority of consoler players, use there tv to play on their console. so other then draging in another tv, buying a new one. or missing the show/game they have to have a way for it to work.

The "real time" mission concept is pretty cool but personally, I wouldnt be too upset if I missed a mission or two. You already have so many missions to already complete, so many side missions to complete and all the planned DLC they have, missing a mission or two wouldnt really hurt you. I definitely wouldnt take the game back just because of that either. Life goes on and there are plenty of Hellbugs, scrappers, mutants and god knows what else to take down, shoot em up with your pals, collect loot and be awesome
