I don't regret a one bit.
If we go by cost / hours spent playing, i'm well in the positive with 54 hours, 735 EGO level and still have not got past the bridge to San Francisco, So i have still stuff to do. Comparing to for example movies, it costs 10-15€ for a movie (based on if it's 3D or not, and how new) and that's entertainment for less than 2 hours. Or when comparing to a bar night, one night of 3-5 hours and it's easily above what the game costs.
Would i buy the game, if i knew what i do now? Yeah, i would still buy it "again".

My only regret is that i can't seem to find more games like this one!
Heh I know, made me sad when the game was lost forever too...but it does have a little of Tabula Rasa in it with the dropdown ark invasions, plus some of the feel of the combat. This is a good thing
As if we have many MMOs to choose from instead of 0-1 decent games per year.
I like Defiance. Just waiting for actual game release in May or June instead of present beta state.
