Anyway to turn off the profanity filter for the PC version?

I'm fine with the filter, but the sheer asininity of it astounds me. Slope is NOT a swear word, why is it censored? Just a simple option to turn it off is all I ask, so I can F and blind to my heart's content.

I'd like to see some kind of filter for the morons with mics who seem to be unable to communicate without dropping the F bomb with every third word. I'm a big boy and the occasional F bomb doesn't bother me, but an endless stream of profanity and/or sexually related filth isn't my idea of immersion. Yes I can mute them, but in a large group it takes time to single them out for muting.

My big gripe is the GD every third word. Its my gripe yes but wow, would love to that off a long ways back. Was in the military for 8 years and didn't hear it used that many times in a week.

I demand a toggle so I can switch of the profanity filter and see humanity in all its glory!

I dunno'... Profanity filters are kinda' fun if you take the time to work around them. Loved making Pilot names in Exteel like vvhore and such.

I like to type quickly so I can get back to shooting things and driving. Chat's pretty awful as it is to use for the PC. Really didn't expect "poop" to be banned though...it's like the word people use when they're already trying not to offend people

If it weren't for FPS games I woulda' never learned to type quickly, XD... But yea, poo-shoes is a common occurence.

Want to revive this post because were on dlc 5 and Trion needs to get it's head out of it's @$$ and realize that giving a game a m rating means your rights to add chat filter are non existent and your justifications are all invalidated.

while adding a optional chat filter is alright forcing players to have it enabled is a crime. censorship must be optional or it violates fundamental first amendment rights

additionally as the previous individual posted the fact that there is no filter on voice chat nor is it realistic or practical to enable one means that this whole Bu!!$hit system is a huge double standard

additionally if you were to play a drinking game every time a NPC dropped the uncensored F-Bomb you would be dead of alcohol poisoning within an hour or so. so the sheer hypocracy of the situation should be evident to the developers and i hope to god they are feeling really humiliated right now
