The thing is, all these different dates that different retailers keep saying are the "official" Beta must have come from somewhere...
So just wait for TRION to give an "official" date for the Beta directly to the customers (us), and not the "official" date(s) they might be giving their retailers that those retailers inadvertantly/deliberately give to their customers....

Why dont you all believe this? Just because some random guy recorded this? i believe it because it an official event, SXSW. Also Rob Hill, Nick Beliaeff of Trion Worlds and Mark Stern of SyFy were there answering questions. and Nick Beliaeff, SVP of Development at Trion Worlds, said that there will be a beta event starting on the 21st and it will be for the PC and PS3, and Xbox beta is still soon. How is this not official?

That actually is the correct answer. Think of it as the world's worst game of "Telephone". As the information passes down the chain the accuracy has to be called into question. The best bet is to get the info from the original source to get the purest possible version.

Yeah I was thinking that. Also it seems that most of the retailers have March 15-17. Then you have these random websites saying March 21st, guess we'll just have to wait until tomorrow lol.

How about we keep positive and hope there are two beta weekendsor even better a beta that lasts a whole week. Wouldnt that rock your world!!!
Both dates might be true. If they do the pc one the 15-17 then fix and rebalance the last big things then do the one on the 21st as a full blown stress test where it has PC, PS3 and Xbox then they could see how the servers would handle under load.
Its only a thought but again, lets just wait and see no reason in spitballing without having actually facts or information from Trion them self.
Really getting tired of this "soon". They just leave us all in the dark about the beta. We don't even know for sure if the next beta is for consoles even. And judging by the rumoured late date of 21st only like a week and some from game launch, I don't feel they are taking the console version very serious. The past two beta have been pc only, who has been doing the work on consoles? And if the next beta does include consoles, how much can really be accomplished in 48 hours of beta testing? Any beta testing I have been involved in last anywhere from a week and on. That is all the console will get by the looks of things. I would not be one bit surprised if the console version of this game comes out buggy as hell compared to the pc version.

As its been said there are ppl playing Xbox version of the game in alpha currently they said Xbox ps3 and pc are all playing on the same server/shard so the beta we will play will not be for bugs, we believe it will be for stress testing the server to see if they need upgrade change anything so the console versions are being tested chill out
