i'm sure that there testing "in house" on the 2 consoles, do you really think they would have a beta for the consoles like 2 weeks before they launch the game.

Yes, in-house testing is mandatory. Unfortunately, in-house testing is also extremely limited. There is a huge difference between a limited environment (alpha) and a more open one (beta). While Trion does apparently have the freedom to update their servers as needed without going through a certification process (such as Microsoft requires), it will be impossible for them to respond and isolate the bugs/errors found during the console beta. They simply will not have the time to manage both the server optimization and launch along with these fixes. To respond to your comment directly, Trion is, in fact, having a console beta 2 weeks before the launch of the game; so yes, I think my concern is entirely plausible.
