Comparing this to fantasy MMOs is wrong. You should be comparing it to FPS games like Planetside 2, Halo, Call of Duty and so forth. I think PS 2 is about three times the size, but considering this is season 1, they probably limited the size for a reason.
Your logic is flawed. Why would you compare it to an FPS, which is a different game genre, and not MMO's, which are at least in the same genre? Hell, you aren't even comparing the right type of FPS.
They are MMO's, and one of the requirements is a persistent world. Comparing the relative sizes of persistent worlds against one another makes perfect sense. They aren't talking mechanics; Merely breadth.
It's amazing that people don't understand this.
So you wanta brand new game to have just as many zones/land areas as World of Warcraft? Which has been out for close to if not 10 years?
I play WOW, and I think it has to many zones, land area. I seldom bump into other players, as I walk/fly about the land. Give the game a chance to iron out the bugs, then expand.
I find the world to be big enough as it is.
Amazes you that you don't understand this? Yea well you get lots of that on forums people like you don't understand much. You are comparing apples and oranges. Your definition of MMO is what is flawed. This game is nothing like WoW not even the same category. The only thing it has in common which makes it a MMO is you are playing with other people that is the ONLY thing. I know it is hard for you to realize you're wrong and will probably come back with some stupid reply so I will toss you up as a lost cause.
