I've received a response to my support ticket I made about this, and it seems like the bans were a mistake.



Seems programs like RadeonPro and Afterburner can be used after all... Glad to see Trion clearing this up.

=D See I don't use hacks/cheat software. I am in the clear.

I see so many users that claim "oh but i did nothing wrong!" there is obviously a reason people get banned... So stop your whining and deal with it, make an appeal and see what happens... i highly doubt somebody is just walking around and says to himself "hmmm that guy is good i think i should ban him" People that glitch, cheat hack or are just a**holes deserve a ban in my opinion. I for one along with many others don't want to hear your whining about it.

Trion is definitely trying to do something about hacking. I respect them for that. I like hack-free games, myself. They are also listening and very responsive. I have never been in a situation like this before, but I have renewed faith that Trion can sort things out.

One of two things:

Either Trion is banning based on process scans and flagging some rather benign programs (did something similar with Rift) or they're banning anyone who gets reported either without investigating or just by looking at logs for something "suspicious," like an impressive k/d ratio (seems much more likely).

Once the population drops more they'll probably start investigating player reports more. Right now they're probably in a "ban 'em all and sort it out later" mode to clamp down on the bad publicity (complaints about cheaters drive away more people than complaints from potential cheaters about unfair bans), especially in light of the recent news.

Got a Logitech G11 and Razor Deathadder mouse.
I use Xplit and fraps because i Stream alot and upload videos on youtube...

because of the "account have been banned" message on my screen Twitch.tv have suspended my account until i get an email from Trion that clear me....

this is the worst kind of crap ever.

I am also banned for 24 hours, got the e-mail about 2 hours ago.

It is also on report player category. I believe they have some kind of automated system for x amounts of reports in x amount of time perhaps.

I am suspecting being reported by the opposition at competitive matchs. I was kinda owning them.

So some noobs that have no idea about EGO perks and builds, weapons, synergys, mods etc thought i was hacking. That is understandable but what about Trion? Shouldn't they need to be more careful about situations like this?

Anyway i still do love Trion and have faith in them. Hopefully they will resolve my issue too. Fingers crossed.
