It's as simple as this.
1: Trion uses automated programs to catch the naughty software.
2: Surprise! It's buggy too.

Why did the appeals get rejected at first?
Because all they did was rechecked the bugged data. It wasn't until they got lots of reports that they decided to check to see if their reporting facility was bugged.
The first email I got said it was a 24hour suspension for me, and when I emailed them they said it would not be reversed, so I am unsure if after 24hours I can play, or not.
Like would it be unreversed for the 24hours and then after it will or not, they are not making sense. I am very very happy that I did not buy the season pass now, and if I do get access to my account I do not feel like playing that much anymore because I am seriously let down by my ban/ suspection.

What the **** is that about, the 3rd party thing would be Steam because I preordered the game through Steam but I have not used a single other thing.
This is my first game I have ever ever had a ban or suspended account and it has come from a company I have tried their first ever game I brought.
I am absolutely fuming about this and if my account does not get sorted now I will request a refund. I have not done a single thing to the game, only play the hell out of it.

I know for a fact I have not used any cheats at all, they can take control of my machine and scan the entire thing and they will find nothing for anything. Yet I am banned or something

I have offered them full control to watch, live streams, computer scans. I am kinda happy they think I hack, when I am just a good player but I am not a hacker at all.
I am posting these comments from there here to show you guys, I am actually upset at Trion. My first time trying one of their games and obviously not a good one.
My first time ever having a ban for anything.
Well for one, your attitude did not help your case in the slightest bit.
I was also hit by this recent wave of bans, I sent them a polite ban appeal:My account suspension was removed along with receiving the following email:Hello,
I've recently received an email notification regarding the suspension of my Trion account for use of illegal 3rd-party programs to gain an unfair advantage within the game Defiance.
The only programs I have running alongside Defiance at any point in time are Steam, RaidCall, and RadeonPro which are completely legitimate software that in no way effect your game in any way. I also read that the method of this detection of illegal 3rd-party programs was done via a report from another player, in which I question the legitimacy of as the only players I interact with are within my Clan and I do not participate in Player Vs Player activities.
I humbly request that my account be restored and if possible be provided with the name of the so called program to avoid this false suspension in the future.

As for what internal means. They will not disclose the detected program for any reason as it would compromise their security systems. If hackers know what doesn't work, they know what to try next much quicker.
Anyone of you using SweetFX that got a temporary ban? Seeing all of you getting wrongfully accused of cheating and/or using 3rd-party programs is getting me kind of wary of using it. At first I used it because the I liked how it improved the graphics of the game, but I still don't know if it is considered to be one of those 3rd-party programs that will result in a ban.
The live chat is not working for me for some reason, I will try to contact them on the live chat support again today just to clarify if SweetFX is OK to use or not, but anyone with any more knowledge than me are more than welcome to clarify things for me concerning Defiance and SweetFX.
I can't comment on SweetFX have not and don't plan on using it. However, in regards to live chat not working... You may need to update Java.
If I was you. I would scan my computer for virus and malware. Also use another brand to scan, not all scanner are created equal. Next I would change my pass word. Also, remove and uninstall all the software you were using, and redownload it directly from the main site. Also, don't use the live stream.
