on my map, the entire southern section is greyed out. Ive legit opened it up by getting rid of the monolith, but its still greyed out, and there are none of those blue icons for fast travel. any ideas?

Hmm, maybe i have to do more quests in that area or something.
It's the color of the land, not the map itself. The physical land is grey and dark so it reflects it on the map.
