Just torrent the show as soon as it airs..... that's what most of us in Australia do because we're sick of delayed releases.

Also, I'm guessing we're on the US West servers but what I don't get is that no matter what time I'm on it's always dead....barely anyone around by comparison to launch..

I am not 100% sure what options you will have to watch the show outside of the US at this time. But I will do some digging and find out.

As far as regions and servers go... Currently we will have a EU regional server cluster and a US regional server cluster.

your only option to watch defiance outside the US is pretty well zilch because of region restriction so your not gonna be able to dig up much sledgehammer, in Canada if you want to pay for the premium channel showcase you can watch it, in the UK if you want to pay extra for the syfy UK channel you can watch it ,but in the rest of the world you are out of luck and will have to use some legal grey areas to watch it, even if they put the show on the syfy website it will be region locked to any outside the US, if you ask me this is major fail on Trion's part not looking into this before the game launched and letting people know, the show should be hosted on trions defiance site in the accounts section so people with a valid account can watch it, but this is not gonna happen.
