Does anyone else do side missions?

I have noticed that the people I see doing the same story missions as me are much lower levels than me, im at 695 right now and some people are at the low 200's! So do you guys do side missions? I have done them all so far (except Project Aegis Part 1 because it isn't working for me) and played quite a bit of online.

Everytime I do a main, I do all the side missions before progressing to the next main. I have to

until they add some type of storge or bank, im staying clear of the side missions due to limited inventory space. I don't want to recieve any mod's to have to turn around and sell them cuz im running out of room.

My thing with mods; If they aren't blue or above, I scrap or sell them. Never had a problem with inventory space.

I don't even see a real use for those mod's. The only mods you need are the synergy mods you get with key's. Even then it's only worth moding an orange weapon.

Fully agree. However, for those people who love to PvP, I could see more of a use for modded weapons.

I did all my side, main, and episode missions. I sold all of my mods to earn money, and I turned all of my uncommon loot into resources. From doing this, I have gained 2 legendaries, one smg, and one rocket launcher.
I do them, because its part of the game. Now im just doing arkfalls and helping people out.

I did for awhile. I'm working towards some pursuits now, but I will probably start up on another side mission frenzy here soon.

By the time I finished the story I was level 1450 something. I did all the side missions.

Also, if I get any mods below blue, I throw them in whatever weapon I happen to be using to level my skill. Why not?

A great many players chose to rush through the main story. Before returning to do the side quests. Even then most of that has to do with the sense of accomplishment in clearing up the games map. I think most people avoid them for being the plague that they truly are. They are just the worst kind of mind numbing insipid nonsense. It is the same thing over and over again. They are the very definition of drudgery. You get horrible experience, poor rewards, and a even poorer payout. I mean like one in ten is actually kind of interesting. The rest are pure filler.

I finally knocked off the last ones I had today, and I can't honestly tell you that I had any kind of sense of accomplishment. It was like I had gotten a chore out of the way. Now I am down to the cooperative missions to complete which I understand are better, pursuits which seem to have started to work for me now, and mindless grinding. Can't say I am particularly stoked about doing the Arkfalls anymore.

By the way having done the main story quests, all of the side quests, and a few dozen Arkfalls. I am having a hard time seeing how anyone could get a Ego rating over a thousand just doing those. Without also buying a absurd amount of boosts. Then again maybe my pursuits not leveling up for so long has been holding me back, but I am not even level seven hundred.
