I'm consistently getting 3 seconds added to my time for a time trial, doesn't matter what area, or trial I do either. Oddly enough... 3 seconds is exactly the time it takes for EGO to count in. Is it possible that the pursuit timer is starting when EGO says "3....2..." thus adding in an extra 3 seconds?
one thing I noticed when it happened to me was it tended to happen when I chose to restart rather than finish the race and let the game restart it.
Give that a try unless it happens either way

I concur. I am attempting to get the Gold for the vehicle pursuit and it's just not working. While many people claim "3" seconds, I've seen it go higher. I've also stood there (just today) waiting for the mission to start while I'm not even put on a vehicle. I'm on the 360 currently. I do hope this gets fixed soon. I am experiencing the same issue. It will add 3-5 seconds to my completion time. This is making it impossible to get some gold medals. I have never experienced lag in this game, so I am pretty sure it is not my internet connection.
EDIT: I just went back tested some of the races I already have gold on, and it is added 5 seconds at the end of those races as well. It appears that all the time trials are being affected.
Now I'm up to a 5 second increase to time trials. Seems to be linked to server uptime, the longer it's up the longer the delay on races. I wonder if this is a memory leak in the servers that could be causing a much larger server stability issue? Either way, this should be looked at, and a DEVELOPER needs to respond ASAP.
It adds 8 seconds on mine which makes it so I get bronze even if I should have gold. I can't even complete the pursuits to raise my EGO and unlock my other perks. This makes me want to stop playing because there is nothing else to do but complete the pursuits at this point. And since because of glitches I cannot even do that, whats the point in continuing to play until everything is working.
