wow and to think I thought pvp on black ops was bad

Shotguns have a lot of weaknesses. If everyone is using them, you can exploit that weakness on everyone. If you can't, well, why are you PVPing in the first place? You clearly suck at it.

Im normaly awesome at shooter pvp ive only played three pvp games on here and stopped every game was nothing buy grenade launchers and shotguns. Oh and I forgot to mention cloak

Find a nice semi auto carbine with a crit multiplier and go to town on flag cappers. I saw people doing this and dropping players with 1-2 solid headshots.

Run Blast Shield as a perk. "Reduce the range at which explosives hit you." -45% for 3 ranks in it. Makes em have to hit you pretty dead on to kill you with a grenade launcher, or even a grenade for that matter.

It was frustrating at first, but you can either work around it or play everyone else's game and roll with a shotgun. I only really ever use Snipers and Assault Rifles so I felt like I was at a disadvantage (which you definitely can be on certain maps).

I use cloak but that's because I'm a woman and have a stupid tendency to rush enemies then regret it later on xD Just kidding, I just prefer it. But, I have the perk that increases damage done while cloaked. That's something to look into.
