    Turn your damage counter on!

So I don't know if anyone has it on or not, but if you don't turn it on.
It makes the game just a little better and its the only setting turned off by default? whats up with that.

Damage counter as in what exactly? for what client are you talking about. I would like a DPS meter for the 360 version.

I have used the damage counters since the beta. Always use them in every game that I can. Very helpful.

Buys and sells Blue / Purple / and Orange items with good bonus stats.

it shows the damage your doing if any, and i'm sure its on 360.
Do you not have a DPS meter at the end of events and co-ops on 360?..

It's the standard MMO "Shows how much damage you did/received" popups. To me they are honestly annoying. I never liked them and since I am not a min-maxer I couldn't care. If I could I'd turn the XP counters off too. Just my own annoyance. To each their own. Was nice to see the option was there, to those that want it, but I honestly don't see the true point in it since I'll be switching weapons often.

Bottom line: If the target is eventually dead: the gun works.

The gun works better and targets die quicker if you hit critical points. It is, at least for me, easier to tell if I'm hitting a critical area if I can see the numbers. The game does have other indicators for crit hits, but some of them aren't really obvious unless an enemy is close up.

That's the point though, it shows you how much damage you're really doing with the weapons you're using and what one is most effective.

It's nice to know if you hit with a crit, but if you didn't.. what's the point of knowing for sure? So you hit the shoulder instead of the head, your next shot will correct that mistake regardless if you knew you missed the crit hit or not.

Again, this is all personal preference. Personally to me, less numbers are flying around the screen more enjoyment I get out of the gameplay, not the numbers behind the gameplay. Call me blissfully ignorant.
