The one that I have has a 1700 some odd capacity, 10%/sec recharge, and a 6 second delay before that recharge happens. It also has a 25%/second health recharge on it. I use this shield with my dual-shotty infiltrator. He doesnt need it so much when he's cloaked, but as soon as those shields come down he's taking quite a bit of health damage, and there needs to be some regeneration to compensate for that and the perks that activate upon shield break. I use him for PvP.![]()
My other tank build uses a VOT Mazu Blast Rifle with Radiactive on it and a VOT Autoblaster with syphon. His shield only has just over 1000 charge, but it has a 3 second recharge delay and a 50% health reacharge per second. Also an 80%/second recharge on the shield. Again, he has a lot of perks that rely on shield break and recharge in order for them to activate. With syphon he can take a surprising amount of damage before he's put down. He uses Overcharge.
The shield that you use really depends on your play style. Are you a sniper that has a lower capcity shield but a fast recharge because you tend to keep your distance and want that fast recharge? Are you a tank character that likes that high capacity and doesnt worry about recharge? It really all depends on your play style. There are no good or bad shields.![]()
