Maybe you do not know this? But there are Story Missions and Side Missions to level up.

    Just saying.
You'll run out of story and side missions to do though. Running through the entire story and sidequest won't even master 1 weapon proficiency. Arkfalls don't give great loot, you get much more exp/scrip/keycodes doing the random events and they let you level weapons... I don't see the point in them not letting you level weapons in hellbug/scrapper arkfalls. You are allowed to farm/grind in all other content.

it a lil disappointing that you don't even get weapon xp for shooting arkfall targets, currently in some silly idea at the very moment the weapon you are using becomes its most potent it becomes its most useless since you cant lvl your weapon skill XP with it.

I wont recycle a weapon till its full XP then swap it out but was sad to see that i spent a lot of time just using a pistol the early arkfall stages just to find it didn't go towards the XP on the pistol i was using.

Agreed there wasn't near enough content with the release f this game! If you can blow through every mission and side mission in under a week then there is something wrong with this picture!

Well I guess it gives us a reason yo use our best weapons, even if they are already levelled so wont give weapons skill gains.

Arkfalls shouldn't increase weapon skill...Why the hell should they? You would just stand there and max out all your skills on the weakpoints of the crystal within a few days. This is a good idea and imo is working as intended.

If you've ever done the last fight in Scrapworks, you'd know that Arkfalls would not be anything to write home about as far as weapon exp. The bonus damage on everything is very minor. I don't think it'd be an issue for Arkfalls to grant weapon experience, it would just make them seem like less of a waste of time.

On the other hand, the last fight in Scrapworks is at least half a level of weapon exp. THE LAST FIGHT ALONE.

Saying Arkfall weapon experience would be too much is silly.

Even hitting the weakspots, it would still be slower them simply doing co-op in most cases, since there is plenty of downtime between each weakspot.

Besides the crystal is a object as far as I know, as such I am fairly sure those never gave weapon xp, people want weapon xp for killing the rest of the crap.

Should the skitterlings at red crystals or the red crystal themselves give weapons xp? ofc not.

However blue crystals/ boss fight? most definatly everything should give weapon xp.

How foolish can you be exactly? 3Million exp isn't anything to write home about? 4.6 isn't anything to write home about?
Most the time in a Co-op mission it is around 1 million or less that people get. Imagine people just going to arkfalls and getting nothing but criticals on the arkfall weakspots. It would add up very quickly.

In Scrapworks, I've gotten 2 million with a couple green bolt action rifles and it's a lot faster than doing an arkfall from the beginning. Forges take about 4x as much damage on their weakspots as anything does in an Arkfall.

Forges also have alot less hp than anything in the arkfall. They may take more damage but the overall HP is the real deciding factor. You do 7k dmg with a sniper shot to a forge until it shuts its eyes, then you do 4k to the tail. So 11k damage where as a LMG to a blister can do a sustained damage of 80k or more within two appearances. Given the fact they appear roughly about two hundred times or more, depending on how many people are focusing them. Yes, arkfalls would be faster.
