Melee Weapons?

Not sure if there will be any, but I kinda hope so, but if there are melee weapons it would make
Blur crazy over-powered

No melee weapons per se. You can perform a melee attack and we have seen one advanced weapon which is a piece of mining equipment that you can use to strike down enemies.

Ive seen pics of weapons with bayonet type attachments...just for looks or something more perhaps?

We have also seen pictures of mobs with dirty great melee weapons. So I wouldn't be surprised if more appear.

Edit: the picture had a guy with a 2hannded hammer or something. Did look awesome if anyone can find it again

most of the time you use the butt of your weapon to hit targets in melee range.

now as for shooters not haveing melee, warhamemr space marine has soem very agressive melee classes with secondary ranged options. its very awesome in pvp matches. o and you have a jet pack and can fly in the air aim where u land then slam into the ground ^-^

So far, the only announced melee-specific weapon is that one "advanced" weapon.
