Nice and they even have beta dates. Yet, we still havent heard from Trion yet for a date. At this rate, I may not even play the beta and just wait for the game. I dont like to be teased and just given a taste anyway haha

They said in SXSW that beta will be 21st

Seems that TRION are insisting on NOT releasing an "official" Beta weekend to the public directly, but are quite happy to give them to their retailers, and change them at will.

A number of sites are saying the "official" Beta weekend is March 15th-18th, a number are saying March 22nd-24th and now the OP gives up to almost a week for PS3.

The communication needs much improvement, especially as giving a retailer a Beta date and not expecting them to let it slip to the public does seem a bit naive.

Personally, I would be more happy knowing a date and then being told, with a reasonable excuse/apology, that it would be delayed.

I wonder how reliable the April 2nd release date is? Afterall, the date the retailers seem to think the "official" Beta date is somewhat variable to them by what they are telling us from information TRION supplied them...
