This isn't a rage or complaint against the complainers or ragers. *blinks...re-reads...nods*

But, I've posted this in I think two other threads, and thought I'd just post it here to cover bases, as some people don't quite understand what the deal is.

It's not their fault, some people are new to this kind of gaming endeavor, and that's okay. When the next MMO comes out that they want to try, then they can be all sagely and wise and put out the fires of the newbs(not meant derogatorily).

Syfy ensured a concrete launch date that couldn't be moved.

Most MMO's would have pushed back launch, Trion couldn't.

It's an MMO. MMO's are buggy at launch.

Don't just rage, do something about it as well, fight for your game!

While fighting for your game, learn how to use the forums, it'll help address issues where they need addressing, and help ease the burden on the Mod team.

Not quite sure what to do in game or how things work? Educate yourself!

Not trying to insult anyone, or be a wiseguy, but I've had all the questions you guys have had, I've done a ton of googling and researching and have been MMO beta testing since 1996 and have done a small amount of coding in old school MUD's.

Figured might as well help clear up some misunderstanding, myths, and assumptions.

People have 2 choices leave or keep playing.

Like any $60 game you either like it or you don't.

If Defiance was subscription based game than you'd have the right to complain about it.

Thanks for posting back log of info about mmos. Most people assume they know everything about mmos and how launch. No one remembers the launches of these games but will claim for example Defiance is the worst launch they have ever seen.

If they weren't playing Anarchy Online at launch, then they haven't seen anything.

Defiance is my first MMO experience. Honestly, I'm quite happy with it. Playing Bethesda's games over the years has caused me to brush off bugs. (You'll understand if you've played Bethesda's games).

I'm super excited for the show too. Can't wait to see how that fleshes out in the game.

No problem.

The UI is a bit tricky at first. But once you figure out the hotkeys and where stuff is, it's a pretty good UI.

The Inventory and Store functionality however, needs work.

I hated Age of Conan's Dance Dance Combat. < ^ > > ^ <
