For Angel of Death I waited a bit then decided to logout and back in. This made the enemies pop again but it still didn't work for a couple minutes. It was the third turret for me. Finally after wiping out all the enemies 3 times, it worked.

Im still not understanding what some of the problems are... it seems that people dont wanna do a little extra work so they blame it on a bug :/

There was no extra work. I killed EVERYTHING around and outside the quest circle for "Clear the area" portion of the quest. I took video. Here's an example from another bug/glitch:

Sometimes things get stuck, non-interactable.
Actually, the logical explanation... you cannot interact with the object while in combat... Once all enemies are eliminated, then interaction becomes possible.
Would explain both that "bug" ^ and Project Aegis

well, i never try to activate anything with enemies trying to kill me anyway... still, i think it has something to do with combat status.
