Amazon.ca... Really??

So after about a week of fighting with them to get my beta code before the console(xbox) beta this weekend, I was told I would hear from their marketing team either today or tomorrow about the code. Well around noon yesterday, I was sent an email telling me I would receive the code on or by April 9th... Really?? What good does a beta code given out on April 9th do for a Beta that starts on March 15th.. Sure it will still give me my items, I would hope, unless Trion disables the beta code acceptance thing, 1 week after launch to prevent free codes from running around.

The memo should have been sent out on the code sheet, "GIVE OUT THESE CODES TO ALL PREORDERS BEFORE MARCH 15 2013!!" and thereafter continue giving out the codes until Apr 2... Not give out all codes, 1 week after the game launches, to everyone who pre-ordered.

Can you guys at Trion fix this?? Beta is in 4days, I would like to join with my "Guaranteed Beta Invite" that I have yet to receive. I've already spoken with a few mods, the more the merrier, I say.

Though not sure how you got beta in 4 days. Though that would be cool... I haven't seen anything official.

Yeah where did you hear the beta is on the 15th? The only thing said is that the next beta details will be this week so beta will probably be sometime next week. Also it takes upto about 7 days after purchase before you get your beta code regardless to how soon next beta is.

Most of the US sites are listing beta on March 15-18 for the consoles.. Problem is I'm in Canada, and the only store offering the beta here is amazon.ca. I've tried asking Gamestop/EB games and they no nothing about the code. BestBuy/Futureshop, now offer a pre-order of the game, but no pre-order bonuses, and Walmart has yet to acknowledge the games existence.

So, at this point there's nothing else I can do and nowhere else I can order from. I can only hope that Trion, gives me my "Guaranteed Beta Invite" that's promised to all those that pre-ordered. I've already offered to send them my order invoice from amazon.ca as proof that I am indeed a pre-order person. Maybe I'm the only Canadian who's pre-ordering this game but 1 > 0 and I should still get what I've been told I'm suppose to get. I don't want to be screwed out of the bonus items as well because my code came a week after launch.. I've never had any trouble getting pre-order things for any other game except this one, and its frustrating the hell of out me.

Do you get time to watch one of the live streams? It is pretty easy to get a beta code from there. Though, they have only been giving out PC codes at the moment. They did say they will be giving out console beta codes as well... (though it was soon).

I pre ordered from amazon.ca, bestbuy.ca and ebgames.ca and contacted them and they all have no clue what I'm talking about when I asked for the beta code. also I'm kinda worried I'm not going to get the bonus weapon from Best Buy since they told me whats on the site is what I'll get..

but it looks like the beta wont be this weekend. they will have told us something by now. sledge has told us he will have an announcement soon, most likely tomorrow.

common theory is beta is weeknd after this one.

I'm already in the PC Alpha/Beta have been since January, but my intent was to buy the game on Console, as all my friends as well as myself, are console gamers. So we prefer to play our games there and together as not everyone of us has a decent comp that can run the game. A few of my friends are actually Anti PC lol.

Damn Amazon us gave me a beta code in the same hour I preorder
