Wish I was so lucky lol with amazon.ca, It's been over a week since the order was placed and I've spoken to them more than once. I'll keep trying and even more so once we hear what the actual date for console beta is. I'll talk to them every hr if I have too, until somebody picks up that piece of paper and mails me a code from it. :P

Already did lol, as I saw he was taking care of the UK amazon mess up, he replied they have ways of taking care of their customers and to wait. I'm slightly impatient though, as waiting doesn't answer my questions/problems and might in turn result in the loss of pre-order things, if I'm not persistent in pursuing an answer/result.

Where did you hear Mar 15? I was under the impression we'd hear an announcement this week.

Good news, was at the local mall and went into EB, asked if they had any knowledge about the codes and was told yes!.. They just got them today, so I cancelled my pre-order with amazon.ca and put a pre-order with EB. (was kinda hoping for that sniper from amazon but meh) beta + items = better.

So a word to fellow Canadians, eb/gamestop now have the codes, however, they have a very limited supply as in like 3 codes per system -.- not sure why they got so little or if they will receive more. They are not printed on the receipts like the US apparently does, but instead you get a card board thingy showing the weapon you get on the front and the beta code on the reverse.. I read it like 6 times, to make sure the fine print said grants entry to at least 1 beta, which is does, as well as all the other pre-order content.

Great news! Now I just have to wait and see if they send me an email with the code.

Go Canada.. thanks for the heads up but I don't think I will be preordering... depends on beta news maybe.. though I doubt it.

I dunno lol, they just don't like playing games on PC, as I guess we were spoiled by the service XBlive put out years ahead of PC. Mic chat and so on all integrated into it, as well as the guaranteed notion that the game will run at max specs for your system, instead of med or whatever on PC. Now, I'm not here to argue with anyone who wishes to tell me that PC has voice chat, as yes they do, but I don't count hosting a vent server while playing a game, as "system/game integration". Steam is starting to allow chat, but back in 2005 when 360 came out, was not such the case.

I think its cause its all just there in 1 unit for consoles and it requires little effort to get from pressing the power button to loading the game. Mic goes into the controller or wireless, start party chat, invite friends to it + game = done. And yes, achievements are addicting, I know steam offers them, but they don't make me care like the XB does lol, the Xbox makes a nice little KAbook! sound when I unlock one and its in my face so I know I got it, and there is a score behind it. Steam is just like... Here's a small red box in the corner that you wont even notice, nor will your friends or anyone else. lol :P
