    Races keep adding time.

I just beat the campaign, so I figured I would start doing the pursuit challenges, but whenever I do a vehicle one, I can't get gold because it adds like 6 seconds on to my final time. I also noticed that when this happens, the race also takes a few seconds to start the countdown, so I'm wondering if the timer is going in that time before it starts, has anyone else experienced this and is there a work around or anything?

    It's lag.

Happens some times. If you notice the timer started before it should have, hit back, Y, and choose restart. ..On Xbox. I dunno, if you're on a different platform, it's map button, abandon mission, restart. Lol.

I had to start one of the races about 40 times before I got one where the countdown didn't lag, and the first arc registered that I went through it.

It's not lag, something is messed up with the servers. If I do a race in SF it will add 9 seconds to the start, but if I do a race anywhere else it starts normally. Makes the races extremely frustrating when you beat gold time by 8 seconds only to get a silver medal.

I haven't experienced this on the PC version. It sounds like there's problem with the client syncing with the server which very well could be lag.

I'll try again in the morning and follow-up.

Yeah, I don't think it's just lag, because it just waits a few seconds, and then starts the race, and then adds more time at the end.

I always thought it was odd that people where getting 4-6 seconds faster than anyone else.. never seen it add time to the end :/... maybe its something after a patch and it starts the timer during the countdown?
I don't always fight for whats right... i fight to be whats left.

This happened to me, I did a race that had like 6 seconds added to the timer, but in the end it ended up giving me gold even though the time it showed on my screen was 6 seconds behind the requirement for gold. so even though its showing as incorrect, somehow its keeping the correct time. For me at least.
