is eu ps3 server down?

i can see my character but when i press x to play it says loading and sits for a minute then says
"critical your connection to the defiance servers has times out"
and advice?

the servers fine mat im on there now try restarting you hub or modem and see what it like afterwards i had trouble when i first tried to play defiance on my ps3

I had the same situation yesterday. I've played for couple hours, then I couldn't load the game for couple hours and by the end of the day I could play a bit more again.

very odd i rebooted and still no joy .
may be server is full?
will keep trying

You are not alone on this, many people have been posting with this issue. It has been going on since last night. I highly doubt it is your router or modem as all my other things are running fine and have been since this issue started.

i just got on to defiance now turn on my ps3 and i got that message to the server are down 2 wtf

I've been getting the 'time out' message all morning, I'm in the u.k.

Mines been doign the same thing it cuts me out the game and says connection to server timed out then it takes me 10 min to get bk on been like this the past few hours

many thank i was about to delete my data and reinstall in case i had a corrupt patch. at least i know its not me oh well.
