I do not know what people are talking about Saturday I was with all my new Defiance friends and made even more . Look you have to be social as well start typing (just hit enter) walk around help a player out, I have about 30 new friends and played and talked to most of them all week via mic. during the last week so don't just stand around and wait to meet players be social it worked for me no problem

yeah i always try to be social....only have met one other so far...other then my brother hes the only one ive really talked to...im always in iron demon and other highly populated areas typing to myself it seems...hope clan chat works today by the way...have been needing to use area chat to talk to my bro...and i dont like everybody listening to what i have to say some times haha.

yea voice chat tends to work in non-lag groups. i had 8 people voice chat while we did ramndom fight encounters and sidemissions

Yea I haven't had any problems socializing with people I've made a few friends from simply reviving people.

Depends on the region most likely in NA everyone is more or less speaking english were as in the EU you have several different languages to confare with and not only that everyone has their own click's so it may be a little harder in different regions
