Nims impossible for some

I completed it on first try. I was uber dissapointed. Was thinking "that's it? main mission done..."
Was amazed reading how many have problems with him. I can barely remember the fight. But I will try and give some pointers below.
Can't wait for patch where they impliment the feature to do missiion you completed. Want to have a try with other setup of weapon, shield etc.
I probably was uber lucky or something. Since I'm an avarage gamer.

I used a sub machine gun and the fast regen shield.
400 something in EGO power.

He wasn't hard at all just took some time since he would keep jumping around and having invi frames then.

When the things upstairs charged up and fired I just positioned myself so if I were to ge hit I would only get hit by a few.

The spawned extras of him died fast and you could easilly dodge them. Hell I even skiped them after a while and just went for him when I found the right guy.

If he hit me I would just dodge and then either Line of sight him or keep doding til I had full shield again.

Another tip could be to equip that shield regen tool as secondary weapon and regen your health and shield faster if you get hit. By just switching to that.

I hope this is some help for people that are having trouble with him.

Nim isn't hard, just tedious. I completed him with a standard crappy assault rifle, lots of dodging and running, and most importantly a 3 second recharge shield. The fight wasn't particularly fun (the irritating bugger got up three times), but it certainly wasn't that hard.

Managed to beat him after dying once in 1st phase and once again in 2nd phase. Realized it was easy as long as I had enough room to cover. Or maybe it was just because I was lagging that time. On my 2nd toon atm and will look into it.

Sorry I forgot to put IMO at the end lol. Wasn't bragging, I do believe I stated Nim backhanded me several times especially in the third phase, but I did down him with a pump shotty Good luck

This is me beating Nim. It looked messy at the start since I wasn't sure what to expect and was getting annoyed he kept destroying my cloak. I died once on the second phase but used my self res. On the third phase I used the center thing for cover and dodge rolled around it then came out to hit him.

I haven't tried him again yet. I plan to take a little bit of everyone's advice. My biggest problem is my hands. It's hard for me to play any game for long periods because my hands are stiff and very painful. My reaction time is a little higher than it should be. I use a nostromo with the thumb pad for movement because its just easier on me. I know I can do it, I just need to keep my frustration minimal. I appreciate everyone's advice. Anyway ...

The point is folks, the game is being sold as an MMO and the co-op game play is something that many (most) players are looking for when they play Defiance. So it comes as a nasty shock when there are solo only missions and bosses. Ive not faced Nim and Ive not had issues with any other solo only content, but that doenst mean I cant understand the frustrations of players who are stuck up against this content. A fix does not mean "nufing" a boss encounter or solo mission. Trion needs to make future content truly co-op. Give folks who solo the stuff better loot, but make the content available, and doable, for all.

They did sell the game as a MMO for crying out loud.

They should hire you as game play advisor.... props
P.S. Nim battle was dumb but easilty beatable. with the right weapon combos.

Easy way to win is using an infector when he's finishing up his ground pound spray a clip let the DOT's do the work then when he flashes away use a detonator from afar rinse and repeat for a easy win took me about 2 try to get the pattern down proper
