Resident Evil has been a bit...bland lately.
I never played RE6 but heard it was terrible from most people. RE5 had moments and the co-op online play was nice, but it was still mediocre. RE4 was the best in the series IMO.
So yeah, a reboot of RE might be a good idea at this point since each games seems to be getting worse. Of course I don't trust Capcom anymore, so who knows how such a thing would be.
It's kind of what I meant when I started the thread, but I can see it the other way. It's a case of hitting "restart" on the series story/style while keeping the general theme and name.
Would be cool to see Phantasy Star on the next gen consoles. Anyone remember that on the Genesis?

I hear they are making a Phantasy Star Online 2 soon though. Not sure on details because I don't follow the series anymore.
