There are some good vids with tips via You tube.

The advice some gamers gave me here when i was having problems to beat him was first to learn his patterns during rounds , use a shotgun/bmg combo and shot him while is close without the shield. Use the bmg to recharge your shield/heath if get low. Worked for me ...hope that helps.

I heard shotguns and rocket launchers on overcharge do a lot of damage, as well I know grenades do a lot of damage. However, I did it with a spanner so I could heal myself. I failed the first time I attempted it but I went back in with adjusted ego perks and I beat him. Choose the perks that happen when your shield breaks or is breaking because It's going to happen a lot. One of them reduces the damage you take to 50% after your shield breaks. I can give you some specific names if you want, but its really your call. Also Using blur or cloak really works well as it confuses nim and you can dodge more attacks. Speaking of which, 80% of the fights are just dodging attacks & healing if you got a spanner. Don't be afraid to do it.

For the first boss wave its 1 v 1 (dodge the gun shots & fireball shots)
For the second boss wave there is 4 easy clones you have to battle, focus on one then that clone will disappear. When they all appear around the roof hide at one end and kill as many as you can then hide behind the pillar to block the other knives being thrown at you.
For the third boss wave, hes now got overcharge so be careful

i used an autofire weapon ( smg) with increased hip fire damage , a shield with 3sec recharge at 40%/sec and a 0.0 delay nade for phase 2.

the autofire weapon doesnt do a lot of damage , but because of its accuracy you can keep shooting him then running pretty effieciently

just keep running around to dodge that blue attack he does.

phase two throw a nade to kill his decoys quickly when they spawn , then just run around the map and popping shots off .

third phase is the easiest , stick to the middle spire and just circle it , popping off shots as you do it , this means you can block the power slam simply by keeping yourself on the opposite side of the spire than himself.

    JOB DONE !

the hardest part is definately the first phase as theirs no protection but the other two are a cakewalk , just keep on your toes and keep firing

Even though it will not do all the damage up front that another gun might, infectors work great with their homing capabilities, especially if its an automatic. An AR also works great, scoped or non, if you can keep track of him. This helps espcially in the second and third wave, due to the weapon will kill the clones in the second, and be able to deal out damage fast in the third.

He's really easy unless you play it wrong. Just roll/strafe continually until he stops moving for a second, shoot him a bit, rinse and repeat.

I only got downed once, when I very first started the fight.

Thanks for the help, guys. My girlfriend came home from work, so I had to stop playing or risk a woman vs. Xbox war, but I plan on giving it another go later tonight.

BMG is the absolute easiest way. I took him on earlier for first time and never died once through all three rounds. It's simple, just shoot him with the BMG (Slow process) and then when you get hit use your BMG to bring back your shield. Good luck!
