are there actually that many people playing on the consoles? i find that unlikely. but i suppose i forget there are poor people that have to play on 8 year old hardware lol.

thankfully the servers arnt mixed. but i digress, this is my prediction for pc or at least hopeful wish.

Poor people? That's harsh. I have friends that play console because of preference, not income. I can't do it though.. I need my mouse and keyboard.

Anyways, I highly doubt any head start. Even if it's evenly divided amongst 360/ps3/pc players, they won't give 33% of the playerbase a headstart. Even if PC was 90% of the population (which I highly doubt), they probably won't.

Alas you are wrong, it is merely my preferred medium at this moment as I'm still preparing my next gaming rig, and have little interest in getting that game on PC for various reason.

I just prefer a xbox over a pc. More of my friends have it and I think it is more fun to play on

i am getting this on console my self do to the lack of needed buttons to play a shooter game and the preference for a controller for the play of shooters. But i do play games on my PC also when they need the whole keyboard to play more smoothly. saying that only "poor" people play on consoles is a ******ed statement. hell my GPUs (2x EVGA 06G-P4-2793-KR GeForce GTX TITAN) cost more than most of your computers. so my wealth or lack there of has nothing to do with my preference of console or PC.

I play PC all the time and I'm getting Defiance for Xbox over PC it's not about income. It's just choice, and PC players start to creep me out a lot now.

Some people (like myself) are poor and can't afford to upgrade our computers all the time. What is wrong with that? If I could afford to, then I would. But regardless, even if I had an awesome gaming rig I'd not buy this on PC. I don't like keyboard/mouse as I grew up playing nearly all the old console systems and didn't even have a computer til I was 13 or 14. Couldn't type correctly til I was in college. Some people (for various personal reasons) just like their particular console for certain games. The whole "PC is the ONLY way to play" and "Real gamers ONLY play on PC" attitudes are why I despise playing a game on PC if it's out in another platform. I just don't understand why the gaming base in general has to be so hatefully segregated. That's why I was hoping the cross-platform worked for this game (but of course, first parties wouldn't go for it).

Let's just all get along. Please.

I would not be surprised if the console version of defiance sells better than pc if it already hasn't with pre orders alone.
