Im locked out as well, South Carolina. Was logged in, went to get my son settled and now I cannot log back in - very sad!
I would greatly appreciate the developers posting something that confirms/deny whether the servers have "crashed"/"are down"/"whatever is going on" so that we have some idea of what to expect for down time or when things will be running. All the rumors, speculation, or hearsay just clouds the issue. So i would personally appreciate some information at this point. Considering Ive given this game a really good review on amazon thats been top review for a while now Im pretty sure a few people are buying this game at my word, and after a week of constant down times for maintenance Id like to know whats going on. Im not mad, Id just like to be informed and kept in the loop by the developers please. Thank you.

Possible that only a certain area or such is being able to play. A number of people are commenting on the fact that they cannot connect to any game they are trying. And Sillious, please be respectful sir. This thread is to help, not to be negative, so please be helpful. And also, to stop your continuation of the two day shutdown, notice the dev said nothing of any sort about a two day shut down.
Here in KY I cant get on for the same reason as the OP but my friend who lives in the same town 4 streets down is playing right now. Its not a xbl issue this time but i am sure it has something to do with what was happening yesterday.
