People who have YouTube!

Well to be fair they only watch the respective games they subscribed for. So it's like I have my channel subscribers split up into three parts. Gears of War, Minecraft, and Skyrim. So unless I put something like rage, fail, or epic in the title they aren't likely to check out something else. :P

I agree but if i start minecraft i don't want to be locked into minecraft forever! You get what i mean?

Thing with YouTube is that the big channels have a very high production quality so starting out a new channel now will mean a likely failure unless you have a very good and unique idea. Otherwise I would be making videos already.

True and i totally agree! the thing with youtube these days is all of the trolls and COD & Minecraft fanatics!!

I love Minecraft for the Xbox 360. The creators of the game even follow me on twitter and send me dlc early so I can showcase it on my channel.

I'd say just post what you want and keep at it. It took me like a year of getting no views to even see some success. I do wish Defiance had a larger audience, but it doesn't seem like a game that'd get many views which is unfortunate because the game is amazing. I just don't want to spend six hours a day rendering and uploading a video when it's not going to do well.

I know it doesn't have a huge audience but i don't have huge render times and upload time so if the video doesn't do well i know for next time. But for my ratio of subs to views im doing a great job on my defiance walkthroughs/ playthroughs!

Great to see you have the right attitude though. Most people get disheartened so I hope it works out for you

I don't upload regularly and don't intend on aiming for lots of subscribers or anything, I just use it when I feel like it. I'll likely stick some Defiance videos up though.

I dropped my channel. Had good amount of views and subs. But I started to get busy. Might make a new one since i've changed my GT a few times since then and have a lot more time.

Might as well add to this true fact, YouTube is doing everything they can, to not monetize low view / starters videos to make the higher up guys be the main attraction.
