Usually with a franchise release. or a TV show release, I see some merchandise for sale. This could be clothes, hats, etc or possibly even a toy line. Has anyone seen any pre-show merchandise from 3rd party vendors for sale?
Also, I expect some sort of boardgame, rpg, or CCG and haven't seen anything listed either.

Hellbug plushies for everyone... woot woot... OP I have seen pictures of the defiance hats, t-shirts etc, but none for sell yet. For marketing purposes sell items are usually reserved till after launch, the stuff we see in the defiance facebook photos are giveaways used before launch at promotional events like PAX etc.
I'd also love some Merch!get on it Trion/SyFy!
Must admit, i would like some Defiance merch..a good tee or hooded top, and a nice poster to frame

JinX will do some fancy shirt works for defiance since they did it for Rift but submit that shirt to J!nX and you prob get credit for it
