do you seriously thought for a second that anything you report will be paid attention, let alone fixed?
do you seriously expect them to code anything at this time?

most likely they are already up to the neck in post-production work, plus full boxing/shipping process. anything reported now would be put in the backburner and dealth with after release

    they have lifted the NDA
they have been handing out dozens of thousands of keys like candy

    its beyond obvious this is:

    a) a server stresstest
    b) publicity stunt, a glorified marketing campaign to reach to the masses

so yep, people should just go and play and smell the flowers, because at this point people may aswell report bugs after release.

Im kind of tired of people with zero understanding or experience in how MMOs work trying to give others lessons....
Yes they will notice the bugs and fix them that's what "patches" are for. Or do you need me to explain what a patch is? For someone who's talking about people with zero understanding about mmo's you sure are not to bright are you? Most MMO's get patches and server maintenance almost ever other day when released for a month before they slow down to a patch a week or month.

Note: The Alpha NDA is still in place and content around Alpha will remain under NDA until further notice. -Sledgehammer70 (In the thread's original post)

Yes, they will. Why? Because that's how Betas work... they fix thing down to the last and since this is an MMO, then they have little choice but to patch every problem they might encounter, and fix every possible instability... because it IS an MMO and it NEEDS to work perfectly. There is already day 1 patching to fix what can't be added to disc at the moment, so there is no reason for them not to listen to the people who WILL send in bug reports, and feedback about how the game works.

May anyone who played the computer betas mention how many gigs their downloads were to play? I just want to have a rough estimate on how long the download will take for my 360. To the people who are complaining about the less than 48 hour play time, I can understand the frustration but with such a small amount of time there will be a lot of people on the servers. I just hope that there will not be a huge lag problem. So the way I see it, short time to play- because of this more people on at once-better understanding on how servers will react with a lot of people on- if servers crash then Trion knows they need to improve. So Im trying to stay positive about this short beta.

Gamestop and soon everyone else...don't give you your money back if you cancel a pre-order, you must apply it to another pre-order (IE - you can't even buy a game that has already come out with "pre-order" money.......LAME!!!)

My Gamestop gave me my money back. They " encouraged" me to spend it on another game, but I knew what I wanted and had paid in cash so they gave me it back.

I dunno why one beta gets longer then the other - they surely have their reasons or even instructions from the respective companies of when sony/ microsoft can deliver this content to the respective systems. I will be happy with ANY play time myself before the release day to see what it's really like as my PC can't handle it.

Last beta downloaded about 8gb onto my computer

Edit: I just checked my game folder it say 10.7GB and this was last beta so it will be bigger than that in this beta.

The back of the Xbox game case says you need 10gigs of HDD space, and I assume thats for patches and extra content. As for the Beta, the PC one is about 6-10gigs, I do not expect the Xbox version to be of same size as usually files are about 40% less in size on the 360/PS3 than they are on PC. If they limit the file to just the first few area's, the game beta could be less than a 2gig download. I'm guessing the retail disk will be about 7gigs in size, with a possible side download upon accessing it for the first time.
